For the third year of the Belk Southern Designer Showcase competition, the agency team supported the program by developing a branded website where entrants, customers and social media followers could obtain information related to the contest, apply easily and share information via their personal social media properties.
To complement the website and drive traffic and social conversation, the team conducted media outreach during key milestones in the competition. Those milestones included a call for entries, announcement of finalists and winner celebration at Belk’s headquarters in Charlotte.
To augment media outreach, a series of videos provided an inside look at each stage of the emerging designer competition. These were shared not only on Belk's social media channels but also drove online conversation for the contest when they were highlighted on each winner's social media properties.
